Jehan Saulnier joined Ancor as an Operating Partner in 2019 and served as CEO of our portfolio company, Liguria Foods from 2008-2013. Jehan has over thirty years of progressive cross functional experience in the processed and fresh meat industries and ten years’ experience in leading companies in private equity sponsored environments. At Ancor, he primarily is responsible for reviewing investments in the food sector.
Prior to this association with Ancor, Jehan was President & CEO of National Deli, LLC and before that, President & CEO of one of our former portfolio companies, Liguria Foods. He gained experience in restructuring at both National Deli, LLC and at Specialty Foods Group, Inc. His early career included responsibilities through several companies including product and brand management, international sales, cost accounting, and industrial engineering. Many of those experiences were in cutting edge development for the company at the time.
Jehan’s undergraduate degree was earned at Drexel University where he graduated cum laude in Commerce & Engineering Sciences. He went on to get his MBA from Columbia with concentrations in Marketing and Management of Organizations.
He lives outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife of over 25 years, and has three grown children. He and his wife enjoy traveling, backcountry hiking, and other outdoor activities.
