Ray Kingsbury joined Ancor in 1998 and has over 30 years of senior executive experience in finance and operations of middle market companies. He also has a history in private equity, commercial banking and commercial real estate.
At Ancor, he primarily is responsible for investments in the consumer and industrial sectors. He serves on the Board of Transhield, Inc., PMA Photometals and LSC Environmental Services. He is a director of Bakewise Brands, Inc., Liguria Foods, Inc., Identity Group and Simply Fresh, Inc.
Prior to his association with Ancor, Ray was a Senior Vice President with Chase Bank of Texas, and managed the Commercial Banking Group for Chase Fort Worth. Ray also served in various capacities in the Financial Planning Division and the Commercial Banking Department at Texas Commerce Bank in Houston, Texas, and prior to that spent seven years in the commercial real estate business.
Ray graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with concentrations in Marketing and Finance, and was ranked number one in the School of Business.
He lives in Southlake, Texas, with his wife of over 35 years, and has two grown daughters and two grandchildren. He and his wife enjoy traveling and many outdoor activities including sailing, kayaking and hiking, and are both serious amateur photographers.
